Chapter Ten
I canât believe I am doing this, I thought to myself for maybe the thousandth time, drumming my hands on the steering wheel.
School had started a few weeks earlier, and I was still dancing at Blackbeardâs. The booking agent Lance set me up with kept trying to get me to do out-of-town gigs, but if I couldnât drive there and back I wasnât interested. The last time heâd called and Iâd said no, heâd threatened to drop me as a client. âGo ahead,â Iâd replied, but he was all bluster. Every once in a while I thought maybe I should go ahead and take one of the gigsâI wasnât making as much at Blackbeardâs as I used to. Lance told me it was pretty normal, which was why I had to take gigs in other towns.
âThe regulars get used to you and theyâre not as willing to give you money,â heâd said as he pulled his jeans on over his strong, thick legs, âas they were when you were fresh meat. Thatâs why you gotta go out of town, man. When youâre fresh meat, they canât give you money fast enough.â
Yeah, whatever, Iâd thought at the time.
But last weekend, Iâd only brought home about three hundred bucks, total. I had a shoot scheduled with BGEast later in the month, so I wasnât too worried about the drop in incomeâI still had quite a bit saved up from all the dancing over the summerâbut shit, that just fucking wasnât worth my time.
So when Phil called me about this dude coming to town being willing to pay me five hundred bucks for a matchâwhy the hell not?
But sitting in the parking lot of the hotel, I felt like a whore.
I knew Phil did it, and some of the other guys from BGEast did, too. It didnât have to be anything more than wrestlingâthatâs what the guys paid for, a chance to wrestle a video star.
And this guyâthis Chase guyâhad made it clear all he was expecting was a wrestling match.
I opened the picture heâd sent me on my phone again, remembering getting the e-mail with the picture and his phone number.
Why does he have to pay for it? I asked myself again, as I had every time Iâd looked at his picture. People would pay him to wrestle.
It was a picture of a bare torso, and it made my mouth water. His body was smooth and tanned, the muscles huge and defined. With my hand shaking a little bit, Iâd picked up my phone and dialed the number. Heâd answered on the second ring. âThis is Chase.â His voice was deep, masculine. My cock started to move inside my underwear.
âUm, hi, Chase, this is Cage. Thanks for the e-mail. Youâll be in town on Wednesday?â
âWell, yeah, Iâll be free about four. Does that work for you? Phil said five hundred for two hours?â
âYeah,â Iâd replied, trying to keep my voice steady. âCash only, and I get paid up front before we do anything.
